Anything that results in your teeth being exposed to sugar or acid or creates a dry mouth should be avoided to keep your teeth in good health:
– Foods to avoid include starchy products such as bread and crisps, sugary snacks or acidic fruit such as citrus fruit.
– Alcohol and carbonated drinks dry your mouth out and expose your teeth to acid.
– If you can’t avoid sugar snacks, at least rinse your mouth with water afterwards to minimise the negative effects.
